Three head to prison today....

Glynn Lambka Brown (15-005011-FC): On March 16, 2015, the defendant pled no contest to Criminal Sexual Conduct 1st Degree (person under 13) and Criminal Sexual Conduct 2nd Degree (person under 13).  Today, on May 6, 2015, he was sentenced to prison by Judge Evans as follows:

MDOC 15 – 25 years for the CSC 1st

MDOC 10- 15 years for the CSC 2nd

Credit for 60 days already served, both sentences to run concurrent

$136 state costs

$130 Crime Victim Rights fee

$700 costs

$500 fine

$700 court appointed attorney fee

No contact with the victim

Jordan Weslee Carlton (15-005004-FC):  On March 16, 2015, the defendant pled guilty to Conspiracy to Attempted Breaking and Entering a Building with Intent as a 2nd habitual offender.  Today, on May 6, 2015, he was sentenced to prison by Judge Evans on this file and his two probation violation files (13-004603-FH and 13-004720-FC).  His sentence is as follows:

MDOC 23 months to 7.5 years, with credit for 76 days already served

$68 state costs

$130 Crime Victim Rights fee

$450 to victim joint and several with his co-defendants

All three terms of sentence are to be served concurrently

$500 fine

$500 costs

$500 court appointed attorney fee

Cameron Jeffrey Sheldon Carlton (15-004999-FH):  On April 6, 2015, the defendant pled guilty to Attempt Larceny in a Building as a 3rd habitual offender.  Today, on May 6, 2015, he was sentenced to prison by Judge Evans on this file and a probation violation file (13-004706-FH).  His sentence is as follows:

MDOC 16 months to 2 years, credit for 81 days served

$450 to victim joint and several with his co-defendants

$68 state costs

$130 Crime Victim Rights fee

$500 fine

$500 costs

$500 court appointed attorney fee

On his probation violation file he received 16 months to 5 years, credit for 388 days already served. 

Both sentences are to run concurrent to one another.
